A native New Yorker, Terri Diamond is a Brooklyn based photographer with over 15 years of experience in fashion and brand portraiture. Lola & Sophie was created by Gene Kagan, who was born in Russia, educated in Los Angeles and now lives and creates in the heart of NYC.

Gene has been passionate about designing for women since he was 12, when he cut up his mother's curtains and made them into dresses inspired by fairy tales and evil queens. He is truly an inspiring designer that we love and look forward to working with each year. Terri captures the flow and function of garments and accessories with profound detail; her photos sell the ‘feel’ of the fabric, not simply the ‘look’ of the model or the aesthetic of the piece. Terri Diamond Photography has been photographing product and editorial images for Gene since 2014. (Lola & Sophie reflect the changing fashion trends with quickness and ease, and Terri photographs most, if not all, of their current styles)
